A man wakes in a sealed room with no doors and no windows. A desk sits in the centre of the room, holding a bomb connected to an hourglass. As the sand begins to fall, he is forced to confront the nature of time, choice, and whether escape is even possible.

Out of Time was filmed over 2 days in December 2025. We made it as a last minute entry into Australia’s Tropfest Short Film Festival. Construction of the Set began in the first week of December and shooting commenced on the 22nd. The entire film was Edited and VFX shots completed before submitting on the 8th of January 2026.
